The Ringer’s
Review looks at yarns from the past in the sheep shearing
industry such as the one pictured here that tells of the reminiscences
of Duke Tritton who was a sheep shearer in the early part
of the 1900’s, in New South Wales.
The Ringer’s Review also has two pages of “Yarns
from the huts” in each issue which is a compilation
of jokes, tales and poems etc from the sheep shearing/wool
industry.
The Ringer’s Review also has yarns about woolsheds and
characters from the sheep shearing past in Australia and abroad.
