Under the banner of engines the sheep shearing collector can amass a large
amount of material. There are portable engines, stationary
engines, shearing plants and motors of every shape and size.
Many early companies such as Lister, Wolseley and Moffat Virtue
all made engines for the sheep shearing industry. There are
no doubt many more engines and motors made by many more companies.
They have become extremely popular not only amongst sheep
shearing collectors but also amongst the engine rally community.
